Dr. Gray Gomez leverages her clinical knowledge with available tools, support services, and a caring heart to ensure patients properly transition through the continuum of health care.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Gray Gomez has found joy in educating medical students, residents, and mid-level providers. She has always encouraged her students to: “give your best to every patient” and “treat your patients as you would treat your own loved ones.”

Being civic-minded, Dr. Gray Gomez enjoys serving the needs of the community through advocacy and education. She spends her free time educating others about health matters, mentoring young women and men, and volunteering in the community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she helped create a series of informational videos about the coronavirus through her work with the Mary Susan Moore Medical Society. Additionally, she has volunteered countless hours working at community testing sites with the Church and Community Health Initiative and food banks within the City of Houston.

She has served on the Board of Directors of The Women’s Home for three years supporting every aspect of the organization’s missions and goals. Currently, she is proud to be the 2020-2021 cochair of the organization’s annual gala, reNew & reDo: A Triumphant Affair!  Dr. Gray Gomez is also the Chair of the Health and Human Services Facet of the Fort Bend County chapter of the Links, Inc.
