July 24, 2019 was a memorable day for the Houston Fire Department (HFD) Arson Division. On that day, the division was the recipient of two new trucks customized especially for its K-9 Division. Donations from the  Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association (HPFFA) Charitable Foundation Advisory Board, the Houston Automobile Dealers Association (HADA), the Cockrell Family Fund, and Nancy Williams made the purchase and donation of the Ford F-150 trucks possible.

The presentation of the outfitted automobiles was made to the HFD Arson Division by the HPFFA Charitable Foundation Advisory Board at HFD Station 6. HFD team members Ugo Tombolini, Steven Wolff, Tim Kelly and his dog, Lux, and Greg Chapa and his dog, Humphrey, were included in the presentation.

During the news conference, Alan Stein, chair of the advisory board, and Elizabeth Stein, chair of fundraising and special projects for the advisory board, stated that the donation not only reflects the board’s appreciation for Houston’s firefighters, it also reflects its commitment to giving back to the community. Patrick "Marty" Lancton, the president of the HPFFA, thanked all those responsible for the generous donation.

Members of the HPFFA Charitable Foundation Advisory Board in attendance were: Alan Stein, Elizabeth Stein, Alan Helfman, Giorgio Borlenghi, and Lyndon Smith. Members of the HADA in attendance were: Wyatt Wainwright, RoShelle Salinas, and Kippy Caraway.
