Come and Be Wined and Dined for an Important Cause at The Women’s Fund for Health Education and Resiliency’s 9th Annual Wine Dinner
The Women’s Fund for Health Education and Resiliency (The Women’s Fund) invites everyone to attend their 9th Annual Wine Dinner, to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April, 18, 2024 at Tony’s. The valuable nonprofit provides Houston-area women and girls with essential tools they need to advocate for their own health. Proceeds from the event will support The Women’s Fund programs that serve to educate girls and women in the Houston area through classes, workshops, lectures, and publications focused on physical, mental, financial, and emotional, health and wellness.
Cochairs of the event, Stephanie von Stein Schusterman and Dr. Mark Schusterman, will honor Marilyn Sumner, this year’s Jane and David Braden “Heart of a Volunteer Award” recipient. Sumner is a longstanding supporter of, and volunteer with, The Women’s Fund.
During the celebratory evening, participants will be guided through an exceptional four-course meal with wine pairings by acclaimed Houston restaurateur Donna Vallone and Executive Chef Kate McLean. Guests will also enjoy a performance by Ars Lyrica Houston and be able to participate in both a silent and a live auction. The Women’s Fund encourages everyone to take part in this jubilant evening of outstanding entertainment, fine dining, and superior wine to help adolescent girls and women lead more fulfilling and resilient lives.
